A decision-maker is a person who takes responsibility for their position and acts in a manner befitting it. A decision-maker has the duty to influence others through exemplary action and to bear full responsibility for the results.
The most important of these duties are as follows.
A decision-maker has the duty to know themselves: to keep asking every day what they truly want, and to keep looking at their own essence.
A decision-maker has the duty to learn from anyone, and to learn from failure and setbacks. They also learn in advance, to avoid great mistakes.
A decision-maker has the duty to create flow. Never stop the flow. Always pass kindness on to the next generation, and keep it circulating.
A decision-maker has the duty to be the one who starts. If they do not, they cannot be called a decision-maker.
A decision-maker has the duty to see through what they have decided. Both starting and finishing are up to oneself.
A decision-maker has the duty to possess strong luck: to turn the products of chance into their own strength.
A decision-maker has the duty to make the right choices, choosing carefully among them. Set priorities.
A decision-maker has the duty to keep to the golden mean rather than think from a biased viewpoint. Extreme thinking dulls decision-making.
